Yield: Mulled Midnight Magic Non-Alcoholic Drinks (4 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Cooking pot, hand-held immersion blender or blender
  • 300 g blackberries
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 vanilla pod, cut in half
  • 1 litre (4¼ cup) apple juice
  • Blackberries
  • Orange slices
Recipe Directions


  • Put the blackberries, apple pieces, cinnamon sticks, vanilla pod, and apple juice into a large cooking pot.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and cook, partially covered, for 10 minutes.
  • Take off the heat. Remove the cinnamon sticks and vanilla pod, then blend the blackberries and apples in the pan with a hand-held immersion blender until smooth. Alternatively, you can transfer to a blender to blend.
  • Pour into glasses and serve garnished with extra blackberries and orange slices.
