These miso glazed brussels sprouts are roasted in the oven until crispy, then tossed in a sweet, salty miso glaze, and roasted again until caramelized on the outside and tender and delicious on the inside.

Yield: Brussel Sprouts (3 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Mixing bowl, baking sheet, oven
  • 1 lb (0.45 kg) brussel sprouts
  • 1 tbsp miso
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Recipe Directions


  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Make your glaze by combining miso, maple syrup, apple cider vintager, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Trim brussels sprouts and halve them. Drizzle with 2 tbsp of olive oil and toss together until each brussels sprout is coated evenly.
  • Make sure all the brussels sprouts are turned cut side down on the baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes depending how big your brussels sprouts are.
  • Take them out of the oven, and toss in the prepared miso glaze. Put them back in the oven for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
