Yield: 8 Kofta Skewers (8 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Cooking pot, 8 wood skewers, grill or barbecue
  • 50 g TVP soy granules
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 75 g rolled oats
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp beet juice
  • Sprigs of fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 tbsp paprika or paprika paste
  • 8 skewers, soaked in water if wood
Recipe Directions

Directions

  • Boil the soy granules in the vegetable broth until soft, then drain.
  • Preheat your grill to 575°F or 300°C.
  • Knead all the ingredients into a dough. Shape the dough into kofta shape and thread onto skewers
  • Grill the kofta on both sides until golden brown
  • Enjoy! Serving suggestion in notes.
