Ingredients & Directions

Recipe Ingredients

Yield: 2 Frankenstein Smoothies (2 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Microwave, bowl, blender, black dry erase marker, refrigerator
  • 1½ cups unsweetened flax milk (I used Good Karma Foods)
  • 2 heaping handfuls of fresh spinach
  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 4 vegan candy eyes
  • 4 tbsp cocoa nibs
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips, melted
Recipe Directions

  • Start by creating the Frankenstein glasses. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second increments.
  • Once melted, dip the top of the glasses in the chocolate, and allow the chocolate to drip slightly before chilling in the fridge.
  • Once the chocolate is set, remove the glasses from the fridge, dip the back of some candy ‘eyes’ with some of the leftover chocolate and press onto the front of the glass.
  • Add a spooky scar above one eye using a dry erase marker and put the finished glasses back into the fridge to chill reading for serving.
  • In a blender, add all other ingredients, and blend until silky smooth.
  • Remove the glasses from the fridge. Pour in your smoothies and watch as your cute lil Frankensteins emerge!
