Yield: Fudgy Cherry Brownies (6 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Mixing bowl, 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch pan, parchment paper, oven
  • 1½ cups all purpose flour or oat flour
  • 1 mashed banana
  • ½ cup pumpkin purée or sweet potato purée
  • ½ cup cocoa powder or carob powder
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • ½ cup water or plant-based milk
  • ⅓ cup pitted and chopped cherries + extra for topping
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup chocolate chips/chunks or carob chips/chunks + extra for topping
Recipe Directions


  • Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C. Line your baking dish with parchment paper if needed.
  • Mix all the ingredients to a bowl and pour batter into your baking dish. Top with extra cherries and chocolate or carob chips or chunks.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool for 15 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
