Yield: 10 Roll Ups (5 Servings)
Needed Kitchenware: Mixing bowl, rolling pin, baking sheet, oven
  • 10 slices of white bread
  • 100g (½ cup) vegan cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp sugar, powdered
  • ¼ cup sugar, granulated
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon, ground
  • ¼ cup vegan butter

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).
  • Melt the butter on the stove on low heat. Pour the butter into a shallow plate and set aside.
  • Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon powder in a shallow plate.
  • Combine the cream cheese with the powdered sugar.
  • Remove the crusts from the bread.
  • Flatten the bread with a rolling pin.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the flattened bread and roll them up tightly.
  • Dip the rolls in the butter and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Notes

Save the cut bread crusts for later to make croutons or use them as a dip snack!

This recipe is meant to be adjusted to your tastes, adjust amount of sugar, butter, and cinnamon for your palette.
