  • 1 celery bunch
Recipe Directions

Directions

Juicer Directions
  • Prepare the celery by cutting off the stump and cleaning each stalk. Be sure to use filtered water or a towel to clean with. Shake off excess water.
  • Get 2 large glasses ready to capture the juice, you might need two depending on the size of your celery bunch. 1 celery bunch makes anywhere from 8 ounces to 16 ounces of juice, it's a wide range! If you have a cheaper juicer, I suggest cutting the stalk into 2-inch pieces so the fiber of the celery does not damage your juicer and you get more juice out of the stalk.
  • Turn on the juicer with the container ready to capture the juice and put a handful of celery into the juicer at a time. Allow the juicer to process what is put in before putting more into the juicer.
  • When done, get a strainer and place it on top of the container you want to transfer the juice into. Strain the juice through the strainer into the container.
  • Rinse and/or clean your juicer and enjoy your juice!
Blender Directions
  • Prepare the celery by cutting off the stump and cleaning each stalk. Be sure to use filtered water or a towel to clean with. Shake off excess water.
  • Cut the celery into 1-inch pieces and put into the blender. Blend until smooth. DO NOT add any water in this process. If you're having issues blending, turn off the blender and use a utensil to mix the mixture.
  • Over a large bowl, open your milking bag inside of the bowl and have it ready to use. Pour the blender mixture into the bag and while lifting it above the bottom of the bowl, squeeze as much liquid out as you can.
  • Once done, clean your blender and milking bag and enjoy your juice!
Notes

A bunch of celery produces anywhere from 8 ounces to 16 ounces of juice on average.

The color of the juice will vary from a mild green color to a dark blue-green color. This is perfectly normal as the color will change depending on the composition of the celery bunch. Each celery bunch will differ based on farming conditions such as geographic location, soil health, chemical usage, fertilization, water conditions, and more.
